## Challenge

Urinary incontinence is a highly prevalent and undertreated condition, but disparities in UI prevalence across gender, race/ethnicity, and age in a nationally representative US sample had not been systematically characterized.

## Solution

Target RWE researchers analyzed nationally representative survey data to characterize the prevalence of urinary incontinence across demographic groups, identifying disparities by gender, race/ethnicity, and age.

## Impact

Documenting urinary incontinence disparities in the US population provides public health partners and pharma companies developing UI therapies with evidence of underserved populations and unmet clinical need.

## Use Cases / Links

Urinary incontinence prevalence disparity characterization for targeted treatment access and awareness programs, Real-world UI burden evidence supporting pharma partner drug development for underserved populations
